Christmas Decorations on Mercer Island
Holiday decorations are out. The Library’s doll houses are all dressed up:

There are plenty of lights out, but I think overall the Island put on a more creative show at Halloween this year. Except for a couple of gems: the reliable crazy cool Christmas trees on 44th,
and a creative, 21-and-over holiday decoration I saw on my walk today:

Finally, for when it’s all over, the City is offering holiday tree chipping from Dec 26 (if you’re really ready to get rid of that thing) all the way up to Jan. 10.
