Fred Jarrett Tapped for King County #2

Glad to hear that Fred Jarrett will be an active player in the new King County Exec office as Dow Constantine’s #2. Jarrett was our pick back in the primary, and not only because he’s an Islander. He’s smart and an asset to the county. Good pick.

Mercer Island Girls Swimming Takes State Championship

Congratulations to the MIHS Girls Swim team, who won the 3A state championship. The Reporter uploaded some good photos of the meet on Flickr.

Baby Blogger Born

And in other news, this blog has been neglected for a couple of weeks as the Mercer Island Blogger had a baby. All of us are fine and healthy. Baby’s not blogging yet but stay tuned!
