Back in October we had a look at the hanging pole of 86th street. It’s still happily hanging there. I wonder how strong the wires are when several hundred pounds of pole are suspended from them.
Then if you drive down West Mercer Way, you come across this tree leaning in a threatening way towards a light pole:
And finally, as you get about to North Island, you find this gem:
Yes, the end is hanging freely in the air, several feet above the ground.
At least they wrapped caution tape around it:
That caution tape makes the North Island hanging tree much safer.
